Here at Herb Gordon Nissan, we spend a lot of time talking about the many and varied awards Nissan vehicles have won from various respected organizations and publications, but we recently were honored as a dealership by the good people at DealerRater, which in a lot of ways is even more thrilling than seeing one of our Nissan cars, trucks, or SUVs being lauded.

More specifically, Herb Gordon Nissan recently was given a 2019 DealerRater Consumer Satisfaction Award. While the website has doled out Dealer of the Year accolades for years, the Consumer Satisfaction Awards are a more recent extension of that program intended to honor the top 10% of dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.

To be considered for these awards, a dealership must have a minimum of 25 reviews at DealerRater within the calendar year and must average at least 4.0 stars on those reviews. From there, the site uses an algorithm to determine a dealership's PowerScore, and the Consumer Satisfaction Awards are given to the top 10% of dealerships based on that score.

In a nutshell, the awards come as a result of customers who were so satisfied with their experience at the dealership, they took the time to head online and leave a positive review. As those reviews collect, it becomes increasingly clear that a dealership is an elite one, and we hope the customers in and around Silver Spring, MD feel that way about our facility.

We are truly humbled and honored to be included among these awards, and we have every intention of doing such a great job in the year to come so that we may appear on next year's list, too. As your Nissan dealership in MD, we want to be the best, and this is a big step in the right direction!
